On loan from Sheffield Wednesday
Kailen joins Celtic after progressing through the ranks at Sheffield Wednesday and arrives after signing professional terms with the Owls in September. A regular for Wednesday’s U21s side, and having captained the team, Kailen links up with Stalybridge Celtic ahead of tomorrow’s home game with Lower Breck. The 18-year-old first joined Sheffield Wednesday in 2024 and completed a two-year scholarship which finished this summer where they offered him professional terms to continue his journey. Kailen also captained their U18 side during periods of the 2025-26 season and was on the bench for the First Team in their EFL Trophy win over Sunderland earlier this month.
