Jay (short for Jason), joins from Ashton United, following co-managers Steve Halford and Paul Phillips. Jay joined Ashton (and was made Captain) in 2013 from fellow Tameside team, Mossley. At Mossley, Jay won the Supporters Player of the Year asd was also captain after joining in 2012 from Glossop North End, where he had played for seven years, getting to the FA Vase Final at Webmbley in in 2009.
