We’re excited to confirm the signing of Hong Kong international defender Sean Tse who joins the Club from Radcliffe.

The 32-year-old defender arrives at Bower Fold as a Northern Premier League Premier Division title winner, having been part of the Radcliffe squad that secured promotion to the National League North last season.

Having also made eight appearances for Hong Kong, Salford born Sean becomes James Kinsey’s second summer signing.

Having secured Sean’s signature, Kinsey said: “Sean was a key target for us when we sat down and looked at players who we wanted to bring in. He’s not only played at international level, but also captained at that level too.

“He has the versatility to play centre back, but also in midfield. When we played against him last pre-season during his time with Hyde, he really impressed us and showed that he is much more than just a defender. He has great technical ability and ticks all of the boxes with who we wanted to bring in.”

Sean added: "I'm really happy to have joined the Club. I've had some great conversations with James and Dan and I'm really looking forward to next season!"

Having started his career at Manchester United, Sean spent seven years at Manchester City before playing over in Hong Kong. On returning to the UK, Sean spent part of last season at Hyde United before joining Radcliffe in October 2023.

Welcome to Celtic, Sean!
