We’re pleased to have signed midfielder Jack Irlam from 1874 Northwich.

The 26-year-old joins Celtic after making 113 appearances for 1874, becoming a key part of their squad.

Last season he scored six goals and has started this season with two goals in six games. Jack has featured at Bower Fold already this season, in the Clubs 0-0 draw with his former side.

After signing for Celtic, Jack tells us: “I’m happy and end excited to join Stalybridge Celtic and looking forward to pushing on this season and hopefully getting the club back up there.

“The manager and players have welcomed me with open arms. It’s now time to crack on and win football matches!”



Manager James Kinsey added: “Jack is somebody we have watched for a long time now. He is really strong on the ball and can carry the ball well. He has experience in this league and ticks the boxes for what we want in the dressing room.

“He has the ability to drag us through games and we’re excited to see him push on here.”
