We’re excited to have signed Australian defender Jai Curran-Nicholls.

Having recently moved to the UK from Australia, the talented 19-year-old is an Australian youth international and arrives at Bower Fold making his first step into English football.

Jai was pleased to have joined the Club, he said: “I’m excited to play with the lads and to go and get a result tomorrow!”


Manager James Kinsey told us: “Jai has real potential to push on. We appreciate Stephen Ireland and Ryan Hopper for helping the Club sign Jai, as they have with both Lucas and Joe.

“He’s somebody who wants to get into the pro game but he has a full understanding that he needs to play games regularly to gain that experience in English football.

“He’s represented Australia at junior level and we’re excited to see where he can go and how we can help him get to where he wants to be.”
