We’re delighted to have officially signed striker Max Leonard!



The 29-year-old played in our pre-season friendly fixture at home to Salford City, scoring Celtic’s goal in the first-half.

Having picked up an injury during that game, Max is continuing with his recovery and hopes to be available for Celtic soon.



Manager James Kinsey tells us: “Max is a top class player that scores goals. He can play as a 9 or a bit deeper in the 10 so offers us versatility.

“He is exactly what we want in the dressing room and the lads really enjoy having him around.

“He was really unfortunate to pick up an injury in his first game with us but he is working hard to get back available and we’re hoping to have him with us again soon.”

Max started his career at Huddersfield Town before spells in non-league with Frickley Athletic, Glossop North End, Curzon Ashton, Telford United, Mossley and Wythenshawe Town.
