Stalybridge Celtic can confirm the signing of exciting winger Obua Mugalula!

The 23-year-old joins the club from Workington AFC, impressing from the bench as Trialist F in Celtic’s pre-season friendly with Salford City.

Obua starred in the Cumbria County Cup last year, scoring four goals in the final as Workington lifted the trophy.  

After clinching Obua’s signing, Manager James Kinsey told us: “Obua has come in this week and shown what a threat he is from the off. He is physical and really enjoys getting at full-backs. He is direct and we believe he’s got the right personality to fit in here.

“The fans was shouting to sign him up at yesterday’s game, so we know he’ll be a popular signing with them.

“We’re excited to see how he develops here.”
