Celtic have added to its medical department with Ethan Cust joining the team as our Student Sport Rehabilitator.
Ethan will join Head of Medical David Pover’s team, offering vital physio and sports therapy support for the upcoming season.
Ethan is from Stalybridge and currently studying at Access Sport College, where he is studying physiotherapy and sports rehab. His aim is to become a physiotherapist in elite sport. Having gained experience already as a physio for clubs in the Cheshire Men’s League and National Football Youth Alliance as well as representing teams in the FA Youth Cup and U19 National Youth Cup, Ethan is looking to further his knowledge and gain more practical experience.

He said: “I’m looking forward to learning more about non-league football, especially from a medical perspective. I’m excited to be taking a hands on approach with the players at a club that I know well. “I’m looking to learn from Dave who is a very experienced physio.
“I’d like to gain as much experience as I can to help develop my skill set and hopefully achieve my goals for the future to become a physiotherapist in elite sports.â€

Welcome to Celtic, Ethan!
