Stalybridge Celtic Football Club can announce that significant changes are being made to the Club's governance to enhance our existing teams, but also create opportunities to bring new people into the running of the Club.
A new board of directors has been formalised with Nigel Jones being appointed as the Club's new Chairman, Paul Bowden as Finance and Operations Director and Phil Hall as Football Club Secretary.
The new board have outlined a four-step plan:
To streamline the Board of Directors so that we can make effective decisions quickly.
To put in place an Executive Committee who will run the club on a day-to-day basis.
Develop various Working Groups to support the Executive Committee in key areas of the Club's management.
Attract and bring in "new blood" to join the Club's management teams.
With step one complete, the Board is now turning to steps two, three, and four.
We are restructuring our existing teams to ensure that we have the right people in the right places and want to invite our supporters and other interested parties who may wish to be involved to get in touch.
If you feel you have skills to bring (for example in finance, maintenance, property development, health & safety, hospitality, community relations, etc.) please let us know by dropping an email explaining how you would like to contribute to the club to Paul Bowden at paul.bowden@stalycelticfc.co.uk.
We look forward to announcing further details about our governance when all of our teams are in place.
