Author: Taran Dhamrait - Wed 14 Jun 23We’re delighted to confirm the signing of goalkeeper Elliot Wynne.
The 24-year-old keeper joins us from Wythenshawe Town where he made 24 appearances last season.
Elliot also featured for Runcorn Linnets in their NPL Division One West play-off semi final 3-1 win over Leek Town, standing in for the suspended Danny Taberner where he received praise for his performance.

After making the move to Bower Fold, Elliot said: “I’m really pleased to have joined the club. I feel this was the right move for me, joining a management team that I work well with.

“I’m excited to get going with the new team and having a great season!â€
Manager James Kinsey was delighted to secure his new goalkeeper, he told us: “Elliot is a top, top keeper. He’s still at a great age and knows exactly what we expect from our goalkeeper.
“He’s class to have around the changing room too. He has experience from playing in a higher division and we know he will get even better with us as the season goes on.â€
Prior to joining Wythenshawe, Elliot spent time at Atherton Collieries where he signed in 2020. He has also been with Farsley Celtic where he spent two seasons and Altrincham.
Elliot can be found on Twitter here.
Welcome to Celtic, Elliot!
