Author: Taran Dhamrait - Fri 9 Jun 23Celtic is thrilled to confirm the signing of former NPL Division One West title winner Charlie Doyle who joins the club from Warrington Rylands.
The experienced midfielder was a key part of the 2021/22 Rylands team that won the 2021-22 NPL Division One West and 2021 FA Vase trophy, being named the clubs player of the season for their double winning campaign.
After completing the signing of Charlie, Manager James Kinsey told us: “We’re really happy that Charlie has chose to make the move to us. I’ve known him for a long time and know what he is like as a lad. There’s not many better on that front.
“As a player, he has won this league with Rylands and will bring a lot of energy to how we want to play. He's another key target that we are really happy with.â€
Starting his career at Bury, Charlie has also played for FC United and Irlam before he joined Rylands in 2020. He also spent time on loan with Avro as they secured promotion to the NPL Division One West.
