Celtic can confirm the signing of defender Jacob Lara on a work experience loan from Salford City until February 19th.

Jacob links up with fellow Salford loanee DJ Pedro and joins Chris Willcock’s side ahead of Saturday’s home game with Gainsborough Trinity.

A regular for Salford City’s Under 18’s, Jacob originally started out as a striker before transitioning into a central defender.

The club would like to thank Salford for allowing Jacob to join the club on loan.
